Interpretation & Translation in Japan
Important business meetings and due diligence work need more than word-for-word translation — they need an interpreter who understands the industry terms and context.
Find and hire an interpreter for meetings, factory visits, trade shows and due diligence in Japan — directly from overseas.
We accept requests for meetings in Tokyo and Osaka, manufacturing site visits in Nagoya, and trade shows or events in Fukuoka and Sapporo, along with the rest of Japan.
Who this is for
- Anyone who needs an interpreter for a meeting with a Japanese company
- Investors who need a specialized interpreter for due diligence or a factory visit
- Exhibitors and attendees who need interpretation support at a trade show or event
- Anyone who also wants help with getting around and coordinating the day on the ground
How we're different
- Know the price up front: Interpreting agencies often charge half-day or full-day minimums plus travel fees. On jpwork hub, each specialist publishes their plans and prices, so you can compare before you book.
- Interpreting and local support in one: Interpreting and local guiding often have to be arranged separately. Here you can book a specialist who can interpret, accompany you and help on the ground.
- Verified identity and credentials: When you hire someone directly through social media, it can be hard to check their language skills or qualifications, or to resolve problems after you've paid. Our Partners are vetted, and their profiles show language levels and badges for identity checks, verified credentials and signed NDAs.

Interpretation Service FAQ
How is this different from hiring through an interpreting agency?
Interpreting agencies may charge half-day or full-day minimums plus travel fees. On jpwork hub, each Partner publishes their plans and prices, so you can compare before you book. You can also book a Partner who can interpret, accompany you and help with coordination on the ground.
Can I choose an interpreter with expertise in my industry?
Each Partner's profile shows their background, areas of expertise, languages and language levels, so you can choose the Partner that best matches your case.
Are any Partners licensed National Government Guide Interpreters?
Partners who hold this qualification indicate it on their profile. That said, all Partners who pass our screening can lawfully provide accompaniment and interpretation services regardless of whether they hold this specific license.
